COVID19 Regulatory updates | Extension of time period for holding Annual General Meeting | Bhavya Sharma & Associates



As per Companies Act, 2013, all the Companies are required to conduct its AGM within 6 months from the end of Financial Year (except for the First AGM). Whereas, Due to COVID19 MCA has extended the timeline for conducting Annual General Meetings by the Companies, which are following calendar year as their Financial Year i.e. from 1st January to 31st December. 

Now, The revised due date is September 30, 2020, instead of June 30, 2020.
